Starting July 13, 2015, USCIS began accepting premium processing requests for H-1B extensions and all other H-1B petitions.
On May 19, 2015, USCIS had temporarily stopped premium processing for H-1B extensions in order to reduce work load and allow the agency to implement a new regulation allowing some H-4 visa holders to apply for work permits. The temporary suspension of premium processing for these H-1B petitions is now lifted and all H-1B petitions are eligible for a premium processing upgrade.
