Izzy Braham

Izzy is from the Bay Area and graduated from Vassar College in New York, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Hispanic Studies. At Becker & Lee LLP, Izzy assists attorneys with employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, L, O, EB-1, PERM labor certifications and employment-based green card applications. She first became active with immigration issues volunteering with immigrant farmworkers in upstate New York. After hearing about some of the daily hardships they endured, Izzy was motivated to pursue immigrant justice work in her local college community where she helped fundraise for and organize around a campaign to win municipal IDs and driver licenses for undocumented immigrants. In 2018, Izzy interned on Capitol Hill and was heartbroken to watch the Trump Administration’s zero-tolerance policy that separated families entering through the U.S.-Mexico border. Her background in grassroots organizing and policy work on immigration issues inspired her to work in immigration law. At Becker and Lee, Izzy enjoys interacting with clients from a variety of backgrounds and fields of work. She hopes to one day go to law school and become an immigration lawyer.
