Associate Attorney Emily Wilson spoke on a panel about the basics of PERM labor certifications – the first step in most employment-based green card processes – at the year’s largest conference on immigration law hosted by the American Immigration Lawyers Association. The session “Labor Certification 102” included guidance on recruitment, mandatory recruitment, supplemental recruitment, and revision of resumes and documenting employer’s analysis of applicants.
This year’s virtual conference materials include an article co-authored by Becker & Lee Partner Christina H. Lee called “Relief from Removal Beyond Cancellation and Asylum” that was also published in the AILA conference materials. Partner Camiel Becker also co-authored an article called “Not Your Typical NIV: Employment-Based Strategies for Employees with Unique Immigration Status,” which was also published in this year’s conference materials.
