Trump Suspends Issuance of Certain H-1B, H-2B, J and L Visas and Extends Suspension of Issuance of Certain Immigrant Visas through the End of the Year

On June 20, 2020, President Trump issued a proclamation suspending the entry of foreign nationals on certain employment-based nonimmigrant visas into the United States. The proclamation is effective June 24, 2020, and remains in effect through at least December 31, 2020, with the possibility of continued extension and modifications.
